The residency is located in the center of Nice, in 6 Av. Verdun.
The studio flat located at the 4th floor of a … building consists in 22sqm, including kitchen, bathroom and a small living with its sofabed.
Each artist is welcome to live in the space and create a project that will be exhibited in the residency space at the end of it.
We are interested in the limit of the space and the "forced" living in it, to affect the creation process and the forming of the final exhibition.
Another aim of the residency is to open a collaboration with Villa Arson, meeting the students and the teachers of the institution, sharing with them the resident practices and investigate on theirs with the goal of create a link between the resident and the students
